Cactus Street Cantina: Your Destination for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Hilton Head

Had the best experience at this Mexican restaurant last night! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly sweet and attentive — they made us feel so welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing — so flavorful, fresh, and truly authentic. You can tell they put a lot of heart into every dish. It’s such a great spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you’re craving delicious, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend checking it out!

Really enjoyable dining experience from outdoor seating, to friendly service, to delicious authentic Mexican cuisine...food was fresh and extremely well prepared with large portion sizes...highly reccomend to anyone and looking forward to getting back to restaurant

Our experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The staff is so welcoming and so helpful, such a good vibe! The food was outstanding. The drinks were great. Waitstaff were attentive. The atmosphere was fabulous!

Cactus Street Cantina is absolutely a must try when you’re in Hilton Head! The food, service, and atmosphere is amazing! I personally got the Pork Belly Bowl and it was a 10/10! As you can tell from the pictures I provided I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be coming back again!

Delicious! Wonderfully flavored meats and carefully curated toppings lead to an amazing experience. The Al pastor is incredibly juicy and moist as well as the carnitas. The sauce on the pork belly did taste as it had been burned, but I’m sure on any other day it would have been wonderful! While you pay and order upfront, the staff is very conscientious and makes sure you’re taken care of through the entirety of your meal and that you’re enjoying what you ordered. While this is just a stop on a very long trip for us, we will be back when we come across it again.

This was our first time to Hilton Head and we think we just found the locals secret spot. The location was really cool and had that Williamsburg VA kind of feel. My chimichanga was as big as my head and holy cow the way they fried it was soft and delicious! The place was packed and they got our food out lightning fast which was very impressive. I could only eat half so make sure you come hungry! We saved room for their Lava cake which was soft and heated. The chocolate to me was nice and rich and really nice. The owner came over to talk with us and I told her she had a gem of a restaurant and we liked everything about it. I absolutely recommend this place and it's places like this that make us want to schedule another trip to Hilton Head for next year.

Wow! The food here is VERY DELICIOUS! This is a small restaurant that packs in because the food is so good! My family all got a different Chimichanga: steak, chicken, and shrimp! Huge portions with us all having lunch from left overs! The spicy margarita was perfect! Huge chocolate lava cake with ice cream! YUMMY!

First I must start with how welcoming and friendly the staff at this restaurant were. Like WOW, knock your socks off friendly. Every single one of them. I felt like each and every person working came over to us and asked us how things were, made light conversation, welcomed us. I mean wow. Secondly, the food was great! While it might strike a more Tex-Mex vibe everyone in my party enjoyed our meals. The al a carte tacos were especially a big hit as well as the Bbq Quesadilla. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Hilton Head.
